Bug DirectX di IE 6 dan 7

Microsoft mengumumkan adanya lubang/bug dari DirectX dan bisa menyerang ke Internet Explorer 6 dan 7 bagi pengguna Windows XP dan Server 2003.

Seperti halnya analisa dari Symantex yang dirilis dalam pcworld, Selasa (07/07/2009) dikatakan  bahwa IE 6 dan 7 sangat riskan terkena serangan mallware, akan tetapi hal itu tidak berlaku bagi pengguna IE 8.

Sebelumnya pernah diberitakan dari perusahaan Denmark, yang mengumumkan bahwa saat ini ribuan website hacker memanfaatkan unpatch Windows dengan memanfaatkan DirectShow dari bagian DirectX.

Untuk mencegahnya segera matikan fitur Activex dari IE 6/7 anda atau gunakan Fix tool MicrosoftFixit50287.msi. untuk menutup lubang DirectX.
